Office administration trainee

YOKO International Ltd -Wednesbury, West Mildands (WS10 8LP)

Reporting to: Finance Manager
Location: Heath Road, Darlaston, Wednesbury,WestMidands (WS10 8LP)
Hours: 9am till 5.30pm from Monday to Friday 
Annual Leave: 20 days plus bank holiday

Company Overview: YOKO was founded in 2002 and is a key player of YOKO branded Personal Protective Equipment and Workwear in the UK with a strong expansion in Europe. We have sales offices and warehouses in England and Spain; our authorised distributors can be found in the UK, Germany, France and Benelux etc.

Job Overview: You need to be confident & highly motivated with good communication skills and also be happy and robust enough to work in a small and busy team. Every day will be different!

Main Duties:

  • Basic administration work and filing
  • Answering telephones and communicating with customers and suppliers by phone and email
  • Data entry and book-keeping on accounting software (initially Sage Line 50). Full in-house training will be given.
  • Helping with customer service and administration and accounts- related queries
  • Assisting the finance manager with  stock control and stocktaking


  • Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
  • Computer-literacy, some experience of Line 50 &MS Office a help, but training will be given
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Methodical approach and attention to detail
  • Able to work on your own initiative when required
