About the role As one of a team of two HR Assistants within the NFU’s busy HR department, you will assist in the provision of an effective generalist HR service to the organisation. You will be responsible for administering and co-ordinating all aspects of the employment lifecycle, including but not limited to recruitment, induction, training and leaver processes for an assigned client group, in a professional manner. As the first point of contact for our customers within the NFU and for those outside the organisation such as potential applicants and recruitment agencies, you will also provide excellent customer service face to face, on the telephone and via email. About you You will be able to communicate effectively in the written and spoken word, pay attention to detail in all tasks and be proficient in the use of a HR database. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be approachable and find it easy to and enjoy establishing rapport with people. You will enjoy working both as part of a team and being able to use your initiative. You will be comfortable using a HR information system and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in performing all your tasks.
