Are you a recent psychology graduate who aspires to becoming a teacher or educational psychologist in the future?

Would you benefit from paid experience in the same school for a full academic year, working within the SEN Department as a Teaching Assistant?

SEN Teaching Assistant -Person Specification
This fantastic Sandwell Primary school are looking for keen psychology graduates who want to build their knowledge and experience by working for a full academic year, supporting a specific child with special educational needs. You must have excellent communication skills and some experience working with children, preferably who are on the autism spectrum.

SEN Teaching Assistant - About the role
This SEN Teaching Assistant role will require you to support a specific Year 2 boy who is on the autistic spectrum on a 1:1 basis. You must be a resilient but friendly individual able to guide and support a child who faces barriers to learning.
